For a week each spring, KYUK partners with schools across the region to spend a week on-site teaching students stop-motion animation to create Yup'ik Word of the Week, a series that airs on TV stations across the state to promote Yugtun literacy.
In Spring 2024, I served as the main producer and project coordinator in Tuntutuliak, Alaska. Students illustrated an animated words centering the theme of food and subsistence. In addition to working with the students, I illustrated and animated the series intro and produced the final cuts of each installment.
